Park Avenue at Aurea, an Architectural Fiction

Park Avenue is pleased to announce its participation in Aurea, an Architectural Fiction, an immersive and highly narrative installation at the heart of the Salone del Mobile. Conceived as a journey through an imaginary hotel, the installation reinterprets the codes of elegance, presenting furnishings that evoke a distinctive atmosphere suspended between past and present.

Reimagining Art Deco

Created by Maison Numéro 20, the Paris-based studio founded by Oscar Lucien Ono, Aurea, an Architectural Fiction unfolds as a captivating architectural fiction, where design becomes the starting point for a sensory journey through light, materials, and volume. Drawing inspiration from the early decades of the 20th century, a period that has long shaped Park Avenue’s aesthetic, the installation invites visitors to experience the collection in a theatrical, almost cinematic way.

The journey unfolds through a sequence of evocatively named spaces: the Suite 1000 Nights, echoing refined oriental atmospheres; the Cosmic Cabinet, where each object seems to conceal a secret narrative; Olfactorum, an environment in which air itself becomes the protagonist; the Smoking Lounge and the Midnight Bar, where signature Art Deco golden details create a rich, enveloping setting. The experience continues with the Copper Garden and the Salon de Bain & Glass Gallery, the most intimate and sensorial spaces within the installation.

Aurea, an Architectural Fiction will be presented in Pavilions 13 and 15 at the Salone del Mobile. Park Avenue takes part in the installation with Mira, Moore, and Dark Black.
